At Idaho Public Television we strive to challenge the mind, inspire the spirit, preserve our stories and promote understanding. Our goal is to provide the highest quality programming in a wide variety of genres that meets the educational, informational and cultural needs and interests of the people of Idaho. We offer free over-the-air television broadcasts to 97% of Idaho homes, including the best of educational children's programming, closed captioned programming for hearing-impaired viewers, and the state's only described video service for the visually impaired. Every year our staff wins numerous awards for our local productions and Internet sites. We also provide special activities for Idaho families such as a children's writing contest, an overnight science camp for kids, rich Internet-based educational resources for students and educators, professional development programs for teachers, and Emergency Alert System announcements.
Idaho Public Television has partnered with CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services) to process real estate donations to benefit Idaho Public Television. Our program takes any property type (land, homes, commercial) in any location so long as there is equity. Even if you owe back taxes, have a mortgage balance, or deferred maintenance, it's no problem. We will pay off all loans, liens, commissions owed and pay all closing costs. If you have a real estate asset that is costing you money or not being utilized, donating it is a great way to give back and you may even claim a significant tax deduction!
