Our mission is to promote cultural diversity and pluralistic community expression and to contribute to a lasting understanding between individuals of all nations, races, creeds and colors. KPFA is a community-powered radio station that creates and curates a unique mix of music, informed public affairs, culture, and news. For nearly 70 years, KPFA has investigated the contemporary intersections of class, race, distribution of wealth, and its effects on the citizens of our Northern and Central California coverage area.
KPFA has partnered with CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services) to process real estate donations to benefit KPFA. Our program takes any property type (land, homes, commercial) in any location so long as there is equity. Even if you owe back taxes, have a mortgage balance, or deferred maintenance, it's no problem. We will pay off all loans, liens, commissions owed and pay all closing costs. If you have a real estate asset that is costing you money or not being utilized, donating it is a great way to give back and you may even claim a significant tax deduction!
