Donating real estate to PBS SoCal is a great way to support our mission to foster a love of learning, culture and community using the power of public media.
PBS SoCal is the primary PBS station for more than 18 million people across six diverse Southern California counties, and a content channel of the Public Media Group of Southern California, formed by the 2018 merger of PBS SoCal and KCETLink Media Group. We provide content and experiences that inspire, inform and entertain, over the air, online, in the community and in the classroom. A local, member-supported non-profit organization, PBS SoCal is yours nearly 50% of our funding comes from our more than 100,0000 members people like you.
PBS SoCal partners with Giving Property to process real estate donations to benefit PBS SoCal and the community we serve. Our program takes any property type (land, homes, commercial) in any location so long as there is equity. Even if you owe back taxes, have a mortgage balance or have deferred maintenance, it's no problem. We will pay off all loans, liens, commissions owed and all closing costs. If you have a real estate asset that is costing you money or not being utilized, donating it is a great way to give back. You may even claim a significant tax deduction!
